After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in case directions are issued to the trial court for expeditious recording of prosecution evidence, he shall not press this bail application at this stage.

Keeping in view of the facts and circumstances and the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 25.03.2018, trial court is directed to expedite the recording of the prosecution evidence and endeavour to conclude the same within a period of six months from the next date of hearing before the trial court.

In view of the above directions, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the petition. Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid directions.
