This is a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers:
"1. To pass an order directing the Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi to provide assistive devices to students with disabilities as per their need in accordance to their disability in next 10 days as the exams are commencing from 19th April 2022.
The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
2. To pass an order directing the Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi to comply with "Guidelines for Indian Government Websites and Apps" issued by Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Gov. of India in April 2018 for their website in next 10 days as the Open Book Exams (OBE) are commencing from 19th April 2022.
3. To pass an order directing the Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi to comply with 'Harmonised Guidelines and Space Standards for Barrier-Free Built Environment for persons with Disability and Elderly Persons' issued by MINISTRY OF URBAN DEVELOPMENT, Gov. of India in February 2016 in next 3 months and until then the classes for students with disabilities shall go on in hybrid mode.
4. To pass an order directing the University of Delhi and University Grants Commission to ensure that the honourable court's order is being implemented and submit the progress report in every 15 days.
5. To pass an order directing all the public and private educational institutions to provide assistive devices, comply with infrastructural and web accessibility norms in next 3 months.
6. To pass an order directing the University Grants Commission and other respondents to ensure that all the public and private educational institutions are The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

The brief facts of the case are that the petitioner was a specially abled student studying in Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi and the present writ petition has been filed to ensure that all necessary infrastructure facilities are provided for specially abled students.

Mr. Kamal Gupta, learned counsel was appointed as an Amicus Curiae by this Court on 11.04.2022.

Mr. Gupta, learned Amicus Curiae and the petitioner have given various suggestions and some of them have been incorporated in the campus premises. A technical committee namely, CABE also gave its report and various suggestions from that report also have been implemented including, but not limited to, the following: a) Completion of cement concrete space for parking in campus law centre.
b) Installation of new entrance gate of Campus Law Centre along with installation of tactile tiles for visually impaired outside the boundary wall of Campus Law Centre leading to its building for easy accessibility to visually impaired.
c) Construction of new toilet for PWD on the ground floor p of CLC with tactile accessibility with hand rails and grab bars. d) Installation of new drinking water points for easy accessibility to PWD with tactile tiles.
e) The entire corridor of the building of the CLC has bee n redone with tactile tiles and Kota stones.

f) Tactile tiles installed with Kota stone leading to Auditorium and Law Centre - I Building.
g) Wooden Ramp provided in Moot Court Room.
h) Tactile tiles with Kota stones and non-slippery ramp provided also in Law Centre (LC-I).

Additionally, Mr. Rupal, learned counsel on instructions states that the university is in the process of making a new building at the Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi and the present building will either be demolished and/ or refurbished. 6.
For the said reasons, it is directed that the respondent Nos. 1 and 2 shall take suggestions of Mr. Gupta, learned Amicus Curiae as well as the petitioner, and shall try and incorporate them as much as possible in the new building. It shall be ensure that the same is infrastructurally and structurally compliant with the needs of specially abled students. 7.
Needless to add, till the new building and infrastructure comes up, the respondent Nos. 1 and 2 shall ensure that the facilities claimed to have been provided are fully functional and available to specially abled students.

With these directions, the petition is disposed of. 9.
The court tenders its appreciation to the learned Amicus Curiae. 10.
