Mr. Ravi Sikri, Senior Counsel states that as per their instructions, they are ready to pay the amounts to the petitioner and an amount of Rs.40,48,592/- has been deposited before the Registry of this Court vide demand draft today.

Counsel for petitioner states that they would like to withdraw the same, without prejudice to their objections that this amount is highly inadequate and woefully short.

Petitioner is at liberty to withdraw the said amount from the Registry. The Registry is directed accordingly.
