O R D E R

% 28.02.2019 Respondent no.2-Sh. Dharamvir Singh Chauhan is present in Court along with his counsel and has been identified by PSI Sikander Gautam of police station Sarita Vihar. He submits that he has settled the matter with petitioners of his own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion vide Settlement Deed dated 29.11.2017. He further submits that in view of the settlement he has no objection in case FIR No. 280/2017 under Sections 406/506/420/34 IPC registered at police station Sarita Vihar and the consequent proceedings are quashed.

Affidavit of respondent no.2 to this effect is also on record.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and

respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
