The petition under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 has been filed for quashing of FIR No. 467/2024 under Section 420/406/34 IPC registered at P.S. Civil Lines.

The petitioner is present in person. The statement of the complainant as well as the petitioner has been recorded by the learned Joint Registrar on 11.03.2025 whereby the complainant has endorsed the terms of the settlement and that it has been made voluntarily in the presence of counsel and IO and that the statement was duly signed by them. 3.

In view of the statements made and also considering the averments in FIR No. 467/2024 along with the proceedings emanating therefrom, no fruitful purpose will be served in continuing with the FIR.
