Ms.Tajinder Kaur, Advocate enters appearance for Mr. Neeraj Gupta, Advocate on behalf of respondents. She states that she will file vakalatnama within one (1) week.

1.1.

She submits that the Respondent admits the existence of a valid Arbitration Agreement.

1.2.

She states that since the value of claims is very nominal, she has instructions to propose a mediation hearing before initiating arbitration. 2.

In response, learned counsel for the Petitioner states that he is aggregable to the said suggestion.

['Mediation Centre'] with the request to assign a senior mediator considering the profile of the parties.

However, since there is no dispute to the existence of the Arbitration Agreement, parties are also referred to Arbitration to be presided over by a Sole Arbitrator to be conducted under the aegis of Delhi Internation Arbitration Centre ['DIAC'].

However, DIAC is directed to appoint an Arbitrator only after 15.09.2025 so that the parties can first consider the mediation. 5.

The Mediation Centre is directed to conclude the mediation proceedings on or before 31.08.2025 and communicate the final report to the Secretary, DIAC.

In case, the mediation is successful, the appropriate orders will be passed by the DIAC. And, in case the mediation is unsuccessful, the DIAC will proceed to nominate an Arbitrator on or before 15.09.2025. 7.

The parties are directed to appear before the Co-ordinator, Mediation Centre on 28.05.2025 at 3:30 P.M.

Parties are directed to appear before the Secretary, DIAC on 15.09.2025 at 10:30 A.M.

With the aforesaid directions, the petitions stand disposed of. 10.

Copy of the Order be sent to the Organizing Secretary of the Delhi High Court Mediation & Conciliation Centre and the DIAC for information and compliance.
