The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be issued to the respondent to grant parole for a period of three months to the petitioner for filing a Special Leave Petition before the Supreme Court.

The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner had filed the application for grant of parole on 20.01.2020. However, the petitioner has not received any communication as yet. 3.
In view of the averments made in the present petition, the concerned authorities are directed to examine the petitioner's application and communicate its decision as expeditiously as possible and in any event within a period of two weeks from today.

The petition is disposed of with the aforesaid directions. 5.
