% 13.03.2019 By this petition the petitioner had sought extension of parole on the ground that his wife had to undergo surgery. Initially the surgery of the petitioner's wife was to be performed on 23rd February, 2019 when he was released on parole by the competent authority. However, the said surgery was postponed to 6th March, 2019.

As per the status report surgery of the petitioner's wife has since been performed on 6th March, 2019. Since the surgery on the ear of the petitioner's wife has been performed on 6th March, 2019, parole is extended for a further period of two days on the same terms and conditions and the petitioner will now surrender on 15th March, 2019 before the Superintendent Jail.
