After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the present bail application. He, however, submits that the FIR in the present case relates to the year 2017 and the petitioner is in custody since 24.06.2017. He further submits that out of 16 witnesses, only 8 witnesses have been examined so far and hence a direction may be given to the Trial Court for an expeditious trial of the case. 2.

Learned APP for the State, on instructions, submits that the charge in the present case was framed against the present petitioner on 14.11.2017 and thereafter the matter is pending before the Trial Court. 3.

In view of the aforesaid, leave is granted and the bail application is dismissed as withdrawn. However, the Trial Court shall make an endeavour to conclude the trial expeditiously and preferably within a period of 9 months from the date of this order.
