% 12.03.2019 Respondent no. 2-Ms. Gamak D/o Sh. Harikishan Mittal is present in Court and has been identified by SI Jitender Kumar of police station K.N. Katju Marg.

Respondent no.2 submits that she has settled the matter with petitioner of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She further submits that in view of the settlement she has no objection in case FIR No. 578/2013 under Sections 354/354D IPC registered at police station K.N. Katju Marg is quashed. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be

served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
