By way of this petition under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the petitioner seeks grant of anticipatory bail in connection with FIR No. 1/2026, dated 03.01.2026, registered at P.S. Shaheen Bagh, under Sections 140/61(2)/3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

Mr. Yudhvir Singh Chauhan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, accepts notice on behalf of the State. He points out, at the very outset, that the petitioner has been declared as a proclaimed offender by order of the Judicial Magistrate First Class dated 24.03.2026. 3.
