The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, seeking anticipatory bail in connection with FIR No.0557/2018 under Sections 420/34 of the IPC registered with PS Burari.

The petitioner claims that he has settled the disputes with the complainant and his grievance does not survive. 4.

It is seen that similar contentions were advanced before the learned Trial Court. However, the petitioner's application had been rejected on the ground that the petitioner had not cooperated with the investigating agencies and had not supplied documents, as called for. Although the petitioner has

arrived at a settlement with the complainant, however, the proceedings have not been quashed, as yet.

It is also admitted that the said settlement has not been fully implemented. A plain reading of the order dated 08.01.2020 passed by the learned Trial Court indicates that the petitioner had requested for a pass-over to supply the necessary documents to the investigating officer. But, concededly, the same were not supplied. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner now claims that the original documents are not with the petitioner.

Considering that the petitioner has neither joined the investigation nor provided the documents as called for, this Court does not consider it apposite to allow the present petition and grant anticipatory bail at this stage. The same is, accordingly, dismissed.
