1. The Petitioner's latest prayer in C.M. APPL. 52461/2019 is that his application for voluntary retirement from service, which he submitted on 1st November 2019, should be processed by the Respondents. He does not press for any other relief at this stage.

2. From the record placed before us, and this is not disputed by the Petitioner, it emerges that a movement order was issued to him on 18th November, 2019, in terms of which he had to report at the Frontier Headquarters, BSF, M&C in Silchar, Assam. Clearly, the Petitioner did not do so.

3. Another movement order was issued to him on 18th December, 2019 for the same purpose. Again, the Petitioner did not abide by this second movement order either.

4. The stand of the Respondents is clear that if at all the Petitioner's application for voluntary retirement is to be considered, he has to first abide by the movement orders, and submit an application for voluntary retirement from the place of his posting i.e. Frontier Headquarters, BSF, M&C in Silchar, Assam.

5. In that view of the matter, this Court cannot grant the relief prayed for by the Petitioner. The petition is accordingly dismissed. Pending applications are also disposed of.
