% 27.02.2020 The petitioner has prayed for parole of three months for sowing and harvesting of crops, as the petitioner is a farmer. Nominal roll of the petitioner filed.
Status report also filed.
Learned counsel for the State submits that the petitioner is supposed to avail the furlough first and only then can he move a petition for parole.
Let the petitioner apply for furlough first to the competent authority i.e. The Deputy Secretary (Home), Home (General) Department, Govt. of NCT of Delhi, Delhi Sachivalya, 5th Level, 'C' Wing, I.P. Estate, New Delhi. The competent authority is directed to decide the furlough
application of the petitioner within a period of 15 days after the same is filed.
In view of the above, learned counsel for petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this petition with a liberty to move a petition for parole later on.
The petition stands disposed of as withdrawn, with liberty as aforesaid.
