Writ petition being W.P.(C) 2478/2022 has been filed seeking directions to the respondent nos. 1 to 3, to stop the illegal and unauthorized construction of a colony, being carried out by the respondent nos. 4 and 5, on the agricultural land situated in the revenue estate of Village Haibatpura, Western Side of Z-Block, Gopal Nagar, Phase-II, Najafgarh, New DelhiThe authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

Contempt petition being CONT.CAS(C) 364/2022, has been filed for deliberate non-compliance of the order dated 09th February, 2022, passed by this Court, while granting status quo over the land in question. 3.

None appears for the petitioner when the matter is called out. 4.

Learned counsel for the respondent no.5-Delhi Development Authority ("DDA") has drawn the attention of this Court to the Status/Action Taken Report dated 09th October, 2025, filed on their behalf, relevant portions of which, read as under:

Perusal of the aforesaid Status/Action Taken Report shows that a demolition programme has already been carried out by the DDA. 6.

Accordingly, DDA is enjoined upon to ensure that no unauthorized construction takes place on the land in question, and that the agricultural land is not colonized, without due process of law. 7.

In case, the petitioner is aggrieved by any non-action on behalf of the DDA, the petitioner shall be at liberty to seek his remedies, in accordance with law.

Likewise, in case, any owner/occupier of the land, wherein action is sought to be taken by the DDA, is aggrieved by any action sought to be taken by DDA, they shall be at liberty to seek his/her remedies, in accordance with law.
