O R D E R

% 27.02.2020 1.

Petitioner seeks a direction to respondent No. 3 to amend its constitution to bring it in conformity with National Sports Development Code of India. It has also sought to interdict the election process of the Association, which was scheduled to be held on 22.02.2020.

2.

One of the preliminary objections raised by the respondent was the authority of the signatory, who has filed the petition on behalf of the petitioner.

3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since the W.P(C) 1863/2020

elections have already been held and because a technical objection has also been raised, he seeks leave to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file a fresh petition inter alia challenging the election. 4.

In view of the above, petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Pending applications also stand disposed of.

5.

All rights and contention of the parties are reserved. 6.

It is clarified that this Court has neither considered nor commented upon the authority of the authorised signatory of the petitioner or the maintainability of the petition. 7.
