This is a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers:- "a) Issue a writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to defreeze the bank account of the Petitioner bearing No. 38246962105 maintained with State Bank of India, Dwarka Courts Branch;
b) Alternatively direct the Respondents to permit operation of the account subject to lien/hold of ₹1000/- being the disputed amount;
c) Direct the Respondent authorities to provide reasons and records relating to freezing of the said bank account;" 2.
Mr. Rout, learned standing counsel for the respondent No. 4 bank, on instructions, states that the respondent No. 4 bank has only marked a lien of Rs. 892/-, as the same is disputed amount. Since the amount in question is only Rs. 892/- and in view of the statement given by Mr. Rout, that the lien is only to the extent of the disputed amount, it is directed that except for an amount of Rs. 892/- (lien marked amount), the petitioner shall be entitled to operate his account number bearing No. 38246962105 maintained with State Bank of India, Dwarka Courts Branch, Delhi.

In view of this Order, the present petition is disposed of, along with pending applications, if any.
