Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the amount involved in the cheque was `4.50 lacs. Compensation of `5.22 lacs was imposed by the trial court. The said compensation amount has already been deposited before the Appellate Court, inasmuch as, this amount has been released to the complainant/respondent.

Till next date of hearing, sentence of petitioner shall remain suspended, subject to his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of `10,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial court. Dasti.
