The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C. in case FIR No.686/2015 registered under Sections 498A/406/354/506/34 IPC at PS Sangam Vihar. Status report is on record.

I have heard the learned counsel for the parties and have examined the file. By an order dated 15.01.2016, the petitioner was granted interim protection and was directed to join the investigation as and when required. Undisputedly, the petitioner has joined the investigation since then. None has put appearance on behalf of the complainant. It is informed by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the matter has been settled between the parties before Principal Judge Family Court, Saket on 09.05.2016.

Copy of the settlement deed has been placed on record.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is granted anticipatory bail and in the event of arrest, she be released on furnishing personal bond in the sum of ` 40,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the SHO/Investigating officer. She shall, however, join the investigation as and when required.

The bail application stands disposed of.
