The petitioners have filed the present petition impugning an order dated 08.02.2019, passed by the District Magistrate under Rule 22(3) of the Delhi Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Rules, 2009 (hereafter 'the Rules'), directing the petitioner to vacate the property bearing no.E-49/L-20-21, Gali No.1, Janta Mazdoor Colony, Welcome, Delhi-110053.

It is seen that the petitioners have an efficacious remedy of an appeal before the Divisional Commissioner under Rule 22(3)(4) of the, as amended in the year 2016 3.
In view of the above the petition is disposed of with liberty to avail of the alternative remedy.

It is clarified that if an appeal is preferred within a period of one week from today, the same would be considered by the Divisional Commissioner, uninfluenced by the question of delay.

The pending application also stands disposed of. 6.
