The appellant herein, along with her son, faced trial for offences punishable under Sections 498A, 302, 304B, 34, and 174A of IPC. 2.

Insofar as the present appellant is concerned, she was convicted for offences under Sections 498A and 174A of the IPC. 3.

However, during the pendency of the present appeal, the appellant has expired.

Learned APP for State submits that the death of the appellant has been duly verified and seeks to place on record such report within three days. 5.

Let it be done.

Mr. Mohd. Akram, son of appellant, is present in Court in connection with CRL.A. 56/2017 and submits that in view of demise of his mother, the present appeal be disposed of as he is not desirous of seeking any leave to continue with such appeal.
