By this Writ Petition the petitioner seeks an appropriate writ/direction to the respondent to pass necessary order mutating the name of the petitioner in the record of the property bearing flat No.287, DDA Apartments, PocketI, Sector-22 situated at Dwarka, New Delhi. It is stated that the petitioner is the only child and sole legal heir of Mr.Jamnu Thakurdas Hiranandani and Mrs.Bharti Hiranandani who were joint owners of the freehold property by virtue of a Conveyance Deed dated 20.11.2001. The father of the petitioner died on 8.7.2018 whereas the mother died on 25.8.2014. Parents of the petitioner had died intestate leaving behind the petitioner as the sole legal heir.

A copy of the Death Certificate of the parents have been placed on record. A copy of the Surviving Member Certificate has also been placed on record. It is not clear as to what is the impediment for not carrying out mutation in favour of the petitioner.

Let the respondent treat this petition as an application for mutation. The respondent will dispose of this application within two months from

today, as per law.

Petition stands disposed of. All pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of accordingly.
