The present Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 ('BNSS'), seeking issuance of a Writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents to produce Mr.Sandeep Kumar, friend of the petitioner.

Mr.Sandeep Kumar has appeared before us in person. 3.
Though he makes a complaint against the respondent nos. 4 to 7 of illegally getting him admitted to a de-addiction centre, this is not the ambit of the present petition. As Mr.Sandeep Kumar has appeared, the purpose of this petition has been served.
