By virtue of the order dated 14.03.2024, Mr. Rupal had sought a short accommodation to take instructions in respect of advertisement dated 16.02.2024 for recruitment of the post of Assistant Professor on contractual basis in the School of Vocational Studies, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University, Delhi in respect whereof, challenging the said notification, the present writ petition was filed. 2.
Today, Mr. Rupal, learned counsel for the respondentuniversity submits that the advertisement dated 16.02.2024 in respect of recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor on contractual basis for the School of Vocational Studies has been withdrawn. Instead, the university has now advertised a fresh advertisement vide the The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. notification dated 14.03.2024 for recruitment to the various posts including the post of Assistant Professor on regular basis and as such, the present petition would become infructuous. 3.
In view of the above and having regard to the statement given by Mr. Rupal, learned counsel, that the advertisement dated 16.02.2024 under challenge has been withdrawn, the present petition has become infructuous.

The right of the petitioner to participate in the recruitment process under the notification dated 14.03.2024 is open and available to the petitioner.
