This writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India r/w Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed for extension of parole to the petitioner which was granted to the petitioner on 3rd December, 2019. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the wife of the petitioner was in the ICU till 29.02.2020 and has now been shifted in General Ward of the Hospital.
Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the throat surgery was performed on the wife of the petitioner and it is further submitted that the mother of the petitioner is a blood cancer
patient. He further submits that as per the status report dated 24.02.2020 filed by the State the Doctor treating the wife of the petitioner states that the condition of the wife of the petitioner is serious and it will take 4 to 6 weeks to recover.

Learned ASC for the State has no serious objection looking into the medical condition of the wife of the petitioner. 4.
Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that keeping in view the medical condition of the wife of the petitioner and also on humanitarian ground the parole granted to the petitioner on 3.12.2019 may be extended for further period of four weeks. It is also submitted by the petitioner that after this parole he will not seek any extension on any ground whatsoever.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances and the medical conditions of the mother and wife of the petitioner, parole of the petitioner is extended for a further period of four weeks from today on the same terms and conditions as imposed vide order dated 3.12.2019. After the expiry of the parole period, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the concerned Jail Superintendent.

Petition stands disposed of.

A copy of the order be sent to Jail Superintendent for compliance. 8.
