Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the present petition inasmuch as the son of the petitioner has passed away and consequently the prayers made in the present petition have become infructuous.

However, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty to institute fresh proceedings to claim compensation from the respondents on account of the negligent / deficient treatment accorded to the petitioner's son.
