There has been no appearance on behalf of the Petitioner since 5th September, 2022. The matter has been called out for hearing on 21st February, 2023, 17th April, 2023, 16th August, 2023, 31st August, 2023, 8th February, 2024 and 14th May, 2024 and there were no appearance on behalf of the Petitioner on any of these dates. The position remains the same even today.

In these circumstances, it is apparent that the Petitioner has lost the interest in the present proceedings and accordingly, the present writ petition is dismissed in default and for non-prosecution.
