The present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed for grant of parole to the petitioner for a period of 4 weeks in connection with FIR no.629/2016 under Section 302/34 IPC registered at Police Station Mukherjee Nagar. 2.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the parole is being sought on the ground that the death anniversary of the petitioner's grandmother has to be performed on 20.03.2024 who expired on 08.07.2023.

Notice was issued vide order dated 14.03.2024 with direction to the State to file the status report. The status report has been filed, which is on record.

A perusal of the status report shows that the date of Barsi, Death Anniversary (20.03.2024) of the petitioner's grandmother stands verified. Learned counsel for the petitioner on instructions submits that the petitioner is already on bail in FIR No.48/2014 under Section 307 IPC registered at police station Bahri, District Jhajjar (Haryana). 6.

In view of above, the petitioner is granted parole of 10 days from the date of release subject to his furnishing a Personal Bond in the sum of Rs.20,000/- and one Surety Bond of the like amount, to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court, further subject to the following conditions:- a) Petitioner shall appear before the Court as and when the matter is taken up for hearing.

b) Petitioner shall provide their mobile numbers to the IO concerned which shall be kept in working condition and they shall not change the mobile number without prior intimation to the Investigating Officer concerned.

The petition stands disposed of.

Copy of the order be forwarded to the concerned Jail Superintendent for necessary compliance.
