By way of present petition, the petitioner seeks following reliefs:- "1. Transfer the investigation of the FIR No. 12/2024 dated 11.01.2024 registered by PS Special Cell under Sections 387/507/34 IPC, to CBI to investigate the demand of 2,50,00,000/- made by Sh. Vedprakash, ACP to the Petitioner in the police station;

2. Direct the CBI to investigate the nexus between ACP Sh. Ved Prakash and the Complainant, Paramjeet Singh, and to investigate the illegal demand of Rs. 2,50,00,000/- as well as demand for land measuring 1000 square yards as per the complaint made to the Commissioner of Police dated 24.02.2024, and if need be to register a separate RC under the relevant sections of Prevention of Corruption Act as well as IPC against them;

3. Consequently, monitor the investigation being carried out by the CBI in regard to the subject FIR as well as into the conduct of Sh. Vedprakash, ACP;

family members, guaranteed under Article 21 of the Constitution of India, who are under a constant threat to their life." 2.

Learned ASC (Crl.) for the State submits that the investigation has already been transferred from Special Cell to Economic Offences Wing which has taken over the investigation on 15.03.2024 and the FIR is pending investigation.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the present petition.

Leave, as prayed for, is granted. The petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
