CM(M) 200/2020 The present petition has been filed seeking a relief that the application seeking interim maintenance filed by the petitioner for residence/rent allowance, under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005, be expeditiously considered by the learned Metropolitan Magistrate. It is stated that the said application is pending since 2014. In view of the submissions made, the learned Metropolitan Magistrate is requested to dispose of the interim application of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
