1. Learned counsel for the Respondent points out that the proceedings before the learned sole Arbitrator commenced on 7th January 2017. On 21st January 2017 the Respondent filed its statement of claim. The Petitioner has filed its counter-claim. It is further pointed out that the Respondent has filed an application under Section 17 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 („Act‟) before the learned Arbitrator seeking interim relief.

2. Considering that no interim order has been passed in the present petition thus far, it will be open to the Petitioner to file an application under Section 17 of the Act before the learned Arbitrator to seek the interim reliefs sought in the present petition. That application will be decided on merits by the learned Arbitrator.
