% 26.02.2020 Vide this petition, transfer of CC No. 4427/2017, titled as State Vs. Umang Singh, filed under Sections 451/427/506/509/34 IPC pending before MM, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi is sought to Rouse Avenue, New Delhi on the ground that one of the accused Naresh Yadav is a sitting MLA of Mehrauli Constituency. The matter is to be tried by special designated courts for MPs and MLAs. The jurisdiction of the present case falls within the jurisdiction of Rouse Avenue Courts Complex, New Delhi.

Keeping in view of the fact that there is a designated court dealing

with the cases pertaining to MPs and MLAs and one of the accused Naresh Yadav is also MLA from Mehrauli Constituency, the request of the petitioner for transfer of the CC No. 4427/2017, titled as State Vs. Umang Singh, pending before learned MM, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi is transferred to learned District and Sessions Judge, Rouse Avenue Courts Complex, New Delhi.

Let the parties appear before learned District & Sessions Judge, Rouse Avenue Courts Complex, New Delhi on 20th March, 2020 for assigning the CC No. 4427/2017, titled as State Vs. Umang Singh, to the competent court of jurisdiction at Rouse Avenue Courts Complex New Delhi.

Let a copy of this order be sent to the concerned trial court for compliance.
