This is a petition filed under section 29 A (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal for a period of 2 months.

The mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal expired on 11.03.2025. 6.

Mr. Marwah, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the delay in concluding the arbitral proceedings is due to the voluminous records pertaining to the matter.

the respondent accepts notice and has no objection to the present petition being allowed.

I am satisfied that sufficient cause for the delay has been shown. 9.

For the said reasons, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of 2 months from today to conclude the Arbitral proceedings and publish the Arbitral Award. 10.

The period from 11.03.2025 till today stands regularized. 11.

The petition is disposed of.
