This is the petition seeking extension of the parole that was granted to the petitioner by an order dated 05.02.2020, whereby the petitioner is required to surrender on 22.02.2020. The petitioner now seeks further extension of parole for the purpose of filing an SLP. 4.

The petitioner had applied for parole for the aforesaid purpose, but in the meanwhile, his mother had expired and therefore, he was granted parole by an order dated 05.02.2020 on the condition that he would proceed directly to his native village and surrender immediately on his return. The petitioner was also directed to mark his presence at PS Sikandrabad, District Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh on his release and repeat the same six days

thereafter.

It is stated on behalf of the petitioner that since he was not permitted to come back to Delhi, he could not take steps for filing an SLP. 6.

For the reasons stated in the petition, the same is allowed and the parole granted to the petitioner is extended for a further period of one week from 22.02.2020.

The petitioner shall report to the SHO, PS Khajuri Khas on or before 22.02.2020. He shall provide his contact details as well as the address where he is residing. He shall surrender on or before 29.02.2020. 8.
