O R D E R

% 13.11.2017 Petitioners have prayed for quashing of FIR No. 244/2015 under Sections 420/406/468/467/471/34 IPC registered at police station Bhajanpura and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom in view of the settlement arrived at between him and respondent no.2 vide Compromise Deed dated 15th September, 2016. On 9th October, 2017, respondent no. 2 had appeared in Court and made a statement that he had settled the matter with the petitioner of his own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. His statement, on oath, was recorded in Court on the same date. In terms of the settlement, petitioner's counsel has paid `30,000/- to the respondent no.2 today in Court. Respondent no.2 submits that with this payment entire settled amount stands and he has no objection in case FIR is quashed.

Accordingly, in view of the settlement, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. FDR lying deposited in the trial court be released to the petitioner no.2. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
