% 12.03.2020 Petitioner is praying for 1st Spell of furlough for three weeks on the grounds of re-establishing social ties with family members and society to curb inner stress and depression.

Nominal roll of 28th February, 2020 of the petitioner has been placed on record.

Learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State submits that petitioner's application seeking 1st spell of furlough is yet to be decided by the competent authority and only thereafter, petitioner can move a petition for parole.

Let the competent authority i.e. The Deputy Secretary (Home), Home (General) Department, Govt. of NCT of Delhi, Delhi Sachivalya, 5th Level,

'C' Wing, I.P. Estate, New Delhi decide petitioner's application for 1st spell of furlough expeditiously.

In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this petition with liberty to move a fresh petition for furlough or parole later on.

The petition stands disposed of as withdrawn, with liberty as prayed for.
