Petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No.396/2024 of PS Ashok Nagar for offence under Section 74/75/79 BNS & 8/10 POCSO Act. It is submitted by learned counsel for petitioner that the victim/complainant de facto has compromised the dispute with the petitioner. But the question is as to whether the minor girl can consent to settle her alleged molestation and as to whether her mother can compromise.
