This petition under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 has been filed seeking extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal, which is in seisin of disputes between the parties. 2.
The mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal was extended by an order of this Court dated 11.08.2023, in O.M.P.(MISC.) 23/2023, and is stated to have expired on 03.12.2023.

Mr. Murari Tiwari, learned counsel for the respondent, appears on advance notice and states that the respondent has no object to the relief sought.

I am informed that the proceedings are at the stage of final arguments.

Although, the prayer in the petition is for extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal for six months w.e.f. 04.12.2023, learned O.M.P. counsel for the parties jointly submit that the extension may be granted for a period of six months from today.

With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal is extended for a period of six months from today.
