Mr. Swapnil Aeron, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that in terms of the order dated 22.11.2023 in O.A. No.1710/2023, the Central Administrative Tribunal ('CAT'), Principal Bench, New Delhi, had allowed the O.A. of another similarly situated person.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in pursuance of the said order, the respondent has appointed the petitioner too, on identical basis.

In that view of the matter, learned counsel submits that the present petition would become infructuous and may be dismissed. Learned counsel for the respondent has no objection to the same.

The present petition along with pending applications is dismissed as infructuous on the aforesaid submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner.

It is, however, made clear that the benefits which flow to the applicant in the said O.A. No.1710/2023 shall also be applicable to the present petitioner in the same terms on the basis that the petitioner is also identically placed as the applicant in the said O.A.
