% 01.09.2025 Mr. Sumit Sharma, learned counsel appearing for the appellant informs the court that the appellant had passed-away some time last year; and the legal representatives of the appellant do not wish to pursue the matter.
Upon being queried, learned counsel appearing for the parties inform the court that the dispute related to the appointment of the appellant as Under Secretary of respondent No.1/Indian Society for Technical Education, which is a private body.
It is also stated that the appellant had attained the age of superannuation.
In the circumstances it is submitted that the right to sue would, in any case, not survive.
In view thereof, the present appeal is disposed-of as abated. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed-of.
