By way of the present application, the applicant seeks grant of interim 4.
bail for a period of three weeks, on the ground of illness of his mother, in case arising out of FIR bearing No. 462/2022, registered at Police Station Moti Nagar, Delhi for the commission of offence punishable under Sections 302/147/148/149 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (hereafter 'IPC') and Sections 25/27 of the Arms Act, 1959.

applicant's mother has to undergo surgery, and the presence of the applicant is necessary for completing hospital formalities, provide legally required consent, ensure proper medical and post-operative care for his mother and also arrange funds for the same. Therefore, it is prayed that the applicant be released on interim bail.

On instructions from the Investigating Officer (I.O.), the learned APP for the State informs this Court that the medical condition of the mother of the applicant has been verified.

Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the applicant and the learned APP for the State, since the factum of the medical condition of applicant's mother stands verified and keeping in mind the period of custody undergone by the present applicant, this Court is inclined to grant interim bail to the applicant for a period of one week from date of release, subject to following conditions:
i) The applicant shall furnish a personal bond in the sum of Rs.10,000/- with one surety of the like amount, to the satisfaction of learned Trial Court/Successor Court. ii) The applicant shall surrender his passport, and will not leave the country without the prior permission of the learned Trial Court.
iii) The applicant shall inform his residential address in case of change of residential address and mobile number to the learned Trial Court as well as to the IO, and in case of change of same, he shall inform the updated details to the learned Trial Court by way of an affidavit.
iv) The applicant shall not indulge in any criminal activity during The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

v) At the time of expiry of interim bail, the applicant will file the documents of his medical treatment that he has undergone during the said period.
vi) The period of one week shall be counted from the date of release of the applicant.
