% 29.01.2015 Mr Sachin Datta, the learned counsel, appearing on behalf of respondent No. 2 states that the successful bidder (who incidentally has not been made a party by the petitioner) has already completed the supplies of the CCTV cameras and installation is to commence tomorrow. In these circumstances, we see no reason to continue with this writ petition as the supply has already been made. The contract was awarded as far back as on 02.01.2015 and the same was to be executed within 30 days. The petitioner was aware of this, although the learned counsel for the petitioner states that his knowledge dates back to 06.01.2015. Since the contract itself was to be completed within 30 days and the supplies have already been concluded, this writ petition has become infructuous in our view. We are

making it clear that we have not expressed any opinion on the validity or otherwise of the rejection of the petitioner's bid due to the alleged noncompliance with the technical requirements / eligibility conditions.
