By instituting this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution, a challenge has been made by the petitioner to Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (Renewable Purchase Obligation and Renewable Energy Certificate Framework Implementation) Regulations, 2021 notified on 13.04.2021.

The petitioner has also challenged the order dated 03.09.2021 passed by the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission, known as Open Access Charges and Related Matters (Fourth Amendment) Order, 2021. 3.

subsequent Regulation notified on 12.11.2024, some of the grievances of the petitioner have been met. Accordingly, the petitioner may be permitted to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to challenge the subsequent notification if any such need arises.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty as prayed for.
