O R D E R

% 18.01.2017 The petitioner has filed the present petition seeking quashing of FIR No.441/2014 registered on the complaint of the complainant under Sections 379/ 356/ 323/ 341/ 506/ 34 IPC against the petitioner at Police Station - Vasant Vihar.

The complainant is present in Court. He is identified by the I.O. Ms. Rukmani Singh, friend of the petitioner, who is present in Court

states that in respect of her complaint, which has led to the registration of FIR No.502/2014 under Section 354/ 509 IPC, quashing petition is listed today before Hon'ble Ms. Justice Mukta Gupta and that she, under the aforesaid settlement had agreed to consent to the quashing of the said FIR today itself.

The parties have arrived at a settlement on 02.01.2017, which has been placed on record. The complainant states that he has not been subjected to any pressure or coercion and that he has entered the settlement out of his own free will. The complainant further states that he joins the prayer for quashing of the FIR in question.

Accordingly, no useful purpose would be served in proceeding further with the FIR in question and the proceedings emanating therefrom. The same are hereby quashed.
