Present petition seeks direction to respondent no. 2 to release the petitioner on furlough in terms of order dated 14.11.2025 passed by the Competent Authority concerned.

Learned Standing Counsel appears on behalf of State on advance notice and submits that in terms of the aforesaid order dated 14.11.2025, petitioner herein was released from the jail on 12.03.2026 and after completion of his first spell of furlough, he has already surrendered on 03.04.2026. 3.

Copies of relevant documents, in this regard, have been handed over to learned counsel for petitioner.

In view of the above, learned counsel for petitioner does not press for any further relief.
