This Court notes that vide order dated 12th February, 2025, the earlier counsel, who was representing the petitioner as a Delhi High Court Legal Services Committee counsel, had sought discharge as she was not getting any instructions from the petitioner. The order dated 12th February, 2025, passed by this court, reads as under:

1. Ms. Aditi Gupta, who is representing the Petitioner as a Delhi High Court Legal Services Committee counsel seeks discharge as she is not getting any instruction from the Petitioner. She further submits that she has also written to the Petitioner as well as to the Authority intimating this position.

2. Accordingly, Ms. Aditi Gupta is discharged from discharging her duties for the Petitioner/legal aid beneficiary.

3. This order will be brought to the notice of the Member Secretary, Delhi High Court Legal Services Committee so that fresh steps can be taken for appointment of the counsel.

None appears for the petitioner today, when the matter is called out. 3.

Considering the fact that none has appeared for the petitioner today and this Court has already recorded the statement of the earlier counsel appearing for the petitioner that the petitioner is not providing any instruction, it is apparent that the petitioner is no longer interested in pursuing the present matter.

Accordingly, the present petition, along with the pending application, is dismissed in default and for non-prosecution.
