This order is being passed in view of a similar order dated 15.03.2021 passed in W.P.(C) 3305/2021, covering the present issue. Based upon the said order and using the same reasons and expressions, this order is being passed.

Mr. Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner states that inadvertently the respondent No.2 is described as Western Regional Committee and it should be read as Northern Regional Committee. 3.

On his oral request, the respondent No.2 shall be read as Northern Regional Committee.

The grievance of the petitioners in the present case is that the Northern Regional Committee ("NRC") of the National Council for Teacher Education ("NCTE") has granted recognition to the petitioners for only one unit of the B.Ed. Mr. Kumar, learned counsel, submits that the present case is covered by the order of this Court dated 23.12.2020 in W.P.(C) 10995/2020 titled Vaishnavi Shiksha Mahavidyalaya & Anr. v. National Council of Teacher Education and Anr.

In the said order, the respondent was directed to treat the writ petition as a representation, and decide the same by passing a reasoned and speaking order within ten weeks. The petitioner was granted liberty to take steps against the order so passed.

Mr. Rupal, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and does not dispute that the circumstances of the present case are covered by the aforementioned order of this Court dated 23.12.2020.

In view thereof, the impugned order dated 15.01.2026 of appellate authority is set aside and the present petition is disposed of with a direction upon the respondents to treat this petition as a representation and decide the same by passing a reasoned and speaking order within four weeks from today. The petitioners are at liberty to take steps against the said order, if required. If the respondents require any clarification or any further documents to be submitted, it will inform the petitioners and the petitioners will be provided with an opportunity to supply the documents for clarification.
