Petitioner seeks quashing of complaint which has been filed against him under Section 138 read with Section 142 of Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (NI Act).

Petitioner, however, submits that the matter has amicably settled and in terms of settlement, the complainant-bank i.e. respondent herein would withdraw its complaint on the next date of hearing before the learned Trial Court. 3.

He submits that in view of the abovesaid settlement, the petitioner is no longer interested in pursuing with the present petition. 4.

Learned counsel for the respondent-bank has also joined the proceedings through video-conferencing and verifies the abovesaid settlement fact between the parties.

The present petition is, accordingly, disposed of as not pressed in terms of the abovesaid settlement.
