% 24.02.2020 This writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents to carry out demolition of encroachment in the form of a police booth on the road opposite Indian Bank Branch and Post Office Rana Pratap Bagh, Delhi in between C & D Block in view of the demolition order passed by the Special Task Force (in short 'STF') set up by the Monitoring Committee of the Supreme Court.

It transpires that there is a police booth in front of the shop of the petitioner's daughter-in-law, which is required to be shifted. A porta cabin with AC was installed near the existing police booth as an alternate to the old booth.

The petitioner appears to have been pursuing multiple remedies. He has approached the STF seeking same reliefs. His daughter in law has also

filed a suit seeking somewhat same reliefs. The civil court on 29.01.2020 in the said suit noted the submissions of the concerned Junior Engineer of the Respondent who had submitted that respondent No.3 had already got the order to demolish the police booth.

Now, the petitioner has approached this court. He states that the police booth should be removed.

Learned counsel for respondent No.1/North DMC submits that they will take action regarding the police booth as per law. Binding respondent No.1/North DMC to the said submission the present petition is disposed of. All pending applications, if any, are also disposed of.
