% 23.03.2016 Crl. MA 4115/2016 (by the petitioner, for reduction of surety amount) Vide this application, the petitioner seeks reduction of surety amount on the ground that due to financial crisis, the petitioner is not in a position to furnish the surety bond to the extent of Rs.25,000/-.
Mr Rahul Mehra, SC for the State appears on advance notice and states that he has no objection to reduction of surety amount. As such, in view of the averments made therein, the application is allowed and the surety amount is reduced to Rs.15,000/- from Rs.25,000/-. The application stands disposed of accordingly.
